Marvel Diva - an explosion of scenic beauty

What was the inspiration behind the various settings for the collection? We liked the idea of creating concept rooms because from the beginning we imagined wow products, each with its own personality and character like divas. That is why each Marvel Diva marble effect has its own room where it is the protagonist without the need to add anything else. For this collection the product is so direct and has such a strong message that in these concept rooms the product stands out on its own, perfectly embodying the diva concept. We liked that the background was also linked to the product, reinforcing the message. For example, Taj Mahal with its light shades and delicate movements is presented with a sandy background; on the contrary, Black Tempest reminiscent of a stormy sky is accompanied by a dark, scenic background.

What are the main features of the Marvel DIVA collection? The special feature of the Marvel Diva collection is the choice of finishes. In order to replicate what happens in nature, and to respect the uniqueness of each marble, we have created for each pattern the finish that best enhances it. The lapped finish was chosen to emphasise the lustre of the most crystalline marbles as it enhances their depth and transparency. In contrast, the velvet and silk finishes with their soft hand and semi-matt effect bring out the best of the colours inspired by satin-finished stones and polished but unpolished marbles. This choice was much appreciated, especially the fact that each product is unique not only in colour and aesthetics, but also in its tactile appearance. The enhancement and research of tactility and sensoriality is, in fact, a very important trend today for all materials. We have, therefore, replicated what happens in nature on each product to emphasise the theme of uniqueness.In addition, again referring to the theme of sensory development, when talking about the wall tile project, for size 50x120 we have reproduced the processing of natural marble, creating three-dimensional and luminous effects. In fact, each colour features a processing specifically designed to enhance its particularity. In fact, today even marble workers present the same product with different processing. We liked this exercise very much and decided to replicate it because with processing the product can really change its appearance. I am referring in particular to the Sky Stone colour where the porcelain stoneware is with a satin finish while the 50x120 size is with a completely matt finish, it has a slightly more scratched, slightly more ruined look. So we were able to bring this uniqueness of the material that occurs in nature into ceramics.

The choice of large formats...? With the large format, these marbles express their power to the full, as is the case with the natural marble slabs from which we took our inspiration. With the large format you get high-impact graphics that increase the spatiality of rooms by creating surfaces in continuity.

What does it represent for you in terms of furnishing aesthetics? Marvel Diva is not only wall or floor covering, but is also very suitable for the furnishing sector for a touch of personality. This collection is ideal for upholstering a piece of furniture, a table or a kitchen when you want a piece of furniture that leaves you speechless and fits harmoniously into the environment for which it is designed.

This attraction to the marble effect, what do you think it comes from? Aesthetically, marble is one of those materials that have so much to tell and cannot leave one indifferent. The colours, veining, details, transparencies are all unique elements that make the beholder dream. Each marble has a different history, origin, aesthetics and this brings a special attraction.

Are there environments for which the Marvel Diva collection is particularly suitable? Marvel Diva is a super versatile collection for all environments, which is why we have selected both soft stones and those with stronger colours, to ensure maximum choice. When choosing high quality marble, the challenge is that it is not always used in every context. We, on the other hand, have succeeded in proposing their use on a large scale, ranging from residential to commercial environments, such as lobbies, restaurants, bars and shops.
